Three eastbound I-90 lanes have reopened on the East Channel Bridge after a three-car collision close to Bellevue Method and a number of automotive fires closed all lanes Tuesday morning

The collision blocked lanes around 7:15 a.m., and two lanes reopened around 8:30 a.m. A 3rd lane reopened shortly earlier than 9:00 a.m.

The HOV lane is open to all autos, WSDOT stated shortly after 8:30 a.m.

Bellevue firefighters obtained the flames beneath management shortly after arrival, the division stated.

Fireplace and emergency crews from Bellevue and Mercer Island arrived to search out heavy smoke billowing throughout the East Channel Bridge.

Video posted to Twitter by the Bellevue Fireplace Division and WSDOT confirmed not less than one car was aflame as crews doused it with water.

WSDOT and Bellevue police are urging drivers to search out alternate routes and count on delays.
